Job Description
As a Handyman for Bax Homeworks in Nashville, you will be a key player in our mission to provide comprehensive home maintenance and repair services. You will travel to various residential job sites to perform a variety of tasks, ensuring each project is completed with a high level of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing a wide range of repairs, installations, and general maintenance tasks.
- Performing basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall repairs.
- Installing and repairing fixtures, such as lighting, faucets, and doors.
- Painting, patching, and other cosmetic improvements.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to determine the best course of action.
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Managing and prioritizing multiple work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Managing customer invoices to make sure that the company is paid for services provided
- Receive incoming calls from customers
Qualifications
To be a successful Handyman at Bax Homeworks, you should possess a strong work ethic, a diverse skill set, and a passion for problem-solving. We require:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar skilled trades role.
- A strong working knowledge of various maintenance and repair tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and interact professionally with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay, Schedule, and Benefits

- Schedule: Part time, 20-25 hours a week; 4 day work weeks!
- Pay: $22-28/hr, depending on experience
