Overview
The Stock Associate collaborate with Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day stockroom operations by receiving, prepping and staging merchandise. Â Help maintain an organized, efficient stockroom and support sales floor changeovers for each drop helping to ensure product is floor-ready and on-brand. Â
What You Will Do
Receiving & Inventory Prep
- Receive incoming stock shipments; check delivery against packing slip, unbox, inspect, hang, steamÂ
- Prep inventory ahead of monthly collection launches, ensuring product is floor-ready and on schedule
- Assist with steaming, folding, dressing mannequins, and other merchandising prep as neededÂ
Returns & Return to Vendor (RTVs)
- Process online returns accurately and in a timely manner
- Process recall shipments and Return to Vendor (RTV) items, following guidelines and requirements
Inventory Management
- Support the management of stock levels and product data using Shopify
- Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Perform routine audits to verify price accuracy across systems and physical tags
- Flag and resolve discrepancies between system counts and physical inventory
Stockroom Organization
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom
- Partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to develop and uphold stockroom systems and best practices
- Ensure product is stored, labeled, and easily accessible for restocks and pulls
Miscellaneous
- Assist the selling team during busy periods by quickly transitioning to a cashier role when needed and properly ringing up customer transactions
- Assist the selling team during busy periods by putting away fitting room go-backs and helping to manage fitting room organization as needed
- Assist with other related duties as requested
 What We Are Looking For
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in a stockroom or retail environment preferred
- Prior experience assisting with new product launches desirable
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar POS/inventory systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable with and ability to perform repetitive physical tasks of unboxing, steaming, lifting, standing for extended periods
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive energy and strong commitment to teamwork
- Ability to work flexible hours around monthly launch schedules including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 50lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching and other physical movements required for stocking, organizing and visual merchandising
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to hang and fold garments, attach tags, an operate POS system, as well as perform other tasks requiring fine motor skills and attention to detail
