About The Position
 We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Tennessee. This 14-day assignment offers 24-hour out-of-house call coverage on specific dates in June, starting June 2nd. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with deliveries, C-sections, and occasional emergency GYN cases. The facility has labor and delivery rooms and a dedicated OR for C-sections. Responsibilities include managing deliveries for pregnancies 35 weeks or over, with a preference for transferring cases under 34 weeks when possible. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide critical OB/GYN care in a hospital setting, with potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for OB/GYN patients
• Manage deliveries for pregnancies 35 weeks or over
• Perform C-sections as needed
• Handle emergency GYN cases when they arise
• Collaborate with nursing staff in labor and delivery rooms
• Assess and treat OB/GYN patients
• Communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Medhost EMR system
• Ensure high-quality patient care and follow all hospital protocols and safety standards
• Adapt to the hospital's existing workflows and practices
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee
• Experience in managing a variety of OB/GYN cases required
• Comfort with high-risk pregnancies and emergency situations
• No VBAC procedures performed at this facility
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts as scheduled
