About The Position
 We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position in Tennessee. This 41-day assignment requires coverage for 24-hour shifts on specific dates between September and December 2025, starting from 09/05/2025. The physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, 24-hour on-call duties, and clinic work. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic OB/GYN environment, providing critical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Provider Type Needed: OB/GYN Physician
Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) on specified dates from September to December 2025
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform C-sections and assist with vaginal deliveries
• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for obstetric emergencies
• Conduct clinic appointments for prenatal and gynecological care
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and complications
• Perform gynecological surgeries as needed
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Cerner electronic health record system
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care plans and procedures
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed in Tennessee
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
• Strong clinical skills in both obstetrics and gynecology essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Flexibility to work 24-hour shifts on specified dates
