Are you an experienced industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving complex problems, and working directly with customers?
At Retreading Systems North America, we're looking for a Field Service Technician who wants more than routine maintenance.
This position combines hands-on technical work, customer relationships, problem-solving, equipment improvement, and travel. You'll become a key technical resource for our customers while working alongside our Technical Services team.

Travel can be up to 75%, but most travel occurs Monday through Friday. Weekends are typically free unless a large, pre-scheduled project requires otherwise.

Job Description
Job Summary
As a Field Service Technician, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and technical support.
This role primarily operates at our corporate warehouse but requires regular travel to customer locations. You will address technical needs, conduct annual process audits, and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction within the retreading industry.
Working collaboratively with the Technical Services team, you will install, repair, and refurbish industrial equipment to meet operational requirements.
General Accountabilities:
Diagnose & Repair
Utilize your technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions using hand tools and testing equipment.
Perform Inspections
Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates effectively and adheres to industry standards.
Customer Interaction
Demonstrate equipment operation to customers, provide clear instructions, and address customer questions or concerns.
Technical Analysis
Analyze test data, computer printouts, and trouble reports to determine repair requirements and appropriate repair methodologies.
Documentation
Develop detailed repair documentation and instructions that empower customers to manage their own repairs.
Customer Satisfaction
Elevate customer satisfaction by delivering industry-leading service and effectively managing account-specific issues.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Technical degree preferred and/or relevant military training.
- Candidates with other backgrounds and applicable work experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Work occurs indoors and outdoors across office, manufacturing-floor, and warehouse environments.
- Exposure to loud noise, dust, dirt, and smoke may occur.
- Appropriate protective safety clothing and equipment—including proper attire, shoes, gloves, and goggles—may be required as needed.
- The position involves prolonged periods of standing or sitting and extensive use of measuring devices and machinery.
- Candidates must be comfortable planning and executing travel up to 75% of the time.
- Most travel occurs Monday through Friday, with weekends typically free unless large, pre-scheduled projects arise.
