They will uphold high levels of quality control to ensure accurate order fulfillment. The Associate will also maintain a clean and safe working environment and may operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to handle materials safely and effectively. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Loading, unloading, sorting, and staging inventory in the warehouse Warehouse up-keep: ensuring organization and warehouse appearance Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements Safe operation of forklift and other material handling equipment Scanning and recording of customer orders and inventory Complete transfers of merchandise Inspect Warehouse equipment daily Proper use of lock out/tag out procedures Must participate in regular inventory counts Inspecting merchandise for damage Take inventory and complete associated paperwork QualificationsPreferred Skills At least one (1) year of warehouse experience (required) HVAC experience preferred Forklift certified or ability to become certified Attention to detail Written and oral communication Able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment Able to pass a drug and background screening Ability to lift to 50 pounds Education High School diploma or GED equivalent required Working Conditions Primarily based in the warehouse or stock areas to assist with inventory and customer pickups. This position requires frequent standing and walking throughout the shift, with regular lifting of products and materials up to and including 50 lbs. There will be use of ladders, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (training provided as needed) with some exposure to temperature fluctuations when assisting with curbside pickups or entering warehouse areas.
