About the Role:

Napoleone's Pizza House in National City, CA is looking for a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team! If you love crafting delicious pizzas and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook pizzas and menu items to order, following established recipes and quality standards
Stretch, top, and bake pizzas using proper dough handling techniques
Operate and maintain pizza ovens, ensuring proper temperature and cooking times
Prep ingredients including sauces, toppings, and dough on a daily basis
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace
Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours

Requirements:

Prior experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
Knowledge of pizza dough preparation, stretching, and baking techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one upon hire
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
