Are you an experienced welder looking for a rewarding career in a clean and organized manufacturing environment? AMETEK LMS is seeking a GTAW Welder to join our dynamic production team. Here’s what you can look forward to:

 

As an GTAW Welder I, you will:

  • Follows instructions contained in the work order and examines final product to confirm completion according to specification
  • Set-up and complete jobs in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and process sheets welding components using Auto-Tig and Hand-Tig
  • Check welds visually and dimensionally with measuring instruments for conformance to blueprints and specifications
  • Organizes work and storage area for efficient workflow
  • Performs cross sectioning and etching of weld samples
  • Cross-train for testing and mechanical assembly tasks

 

GTAW Welder I Position Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • 1-year previous TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding program.

Salary Range and Benefits:

The hourly pay range will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
