Responsibilities:
Directly responsible to Business Unit Manager.
• Assist in the training of new operators.
• Note malfunctions, trouble shoot, lubricate machine at specific points as required and perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Write TCNs and Maintenance Work Orders as necessary to maintain equipment and tooling to meet safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Record applicable production data utilizing work station computer terminal.
• Use and operate the handling equipment necessary for a specific operation.
• Perform preventative machine and equipment maintenance including lubrication.
• Assist in training of new operators.
• Comply with all quality standards and procedures including internal inspection requirements, quality standards requested by customers and any other quality standard.
• Perform all job duties in an efficient and safe manner according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Perform job duties to meet established departmental metrics (i.e. production, efficiency and scrap).
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by Business Unit Manager or group leader.
• Keep work area clean, and orderly.
Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent
Basic math skills (Counting, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Chart making, Chart reading, Micrometer reading)
Pass the SPC level for this group
Complete paperwork timely, completely, and correctly.

Mechanical abilities to do minor machine adjustments

Licensed forklift operator if applicable
