Technical Project Manager — Connected

You'll own and deliver new product development across multiple projects within a Connected franchise — on budget and to aggressive timelines. You're the glue in the team: the person who aligns project direction and decision points with key people from every business discipline, across three regions.

You partner with the design manager and engineers, with joint responsibility for NPD and for getting new products to market. You own the what, why, and when. They own the how.

Responsibilities

• Jointly lead product development from concept through mass production alongside the engineering team — you drive the why and when, your design/engineering counterpart drives the how.
• Manage projects with top-down oversight through the entire execution, holding the standards of scope, budget, and timeline that define success.
• Monitor progress continuously and report on measurable items — milestones and deliverables — on a set schedule and in detail.
• Partner with the SharkNinja Infomercial teams, owning delivery of functioning, high-quality units on time and to location.
• Coordinate development and sign-off of all tests that prove the product meets our KPIs, and build the test setups that let us demonstrate that to consumers on camera.
• Communicate proactively with everyone involved — surface problems, create solutions, drive efficiency improvements, and keep the team encouraged.
• Set up, chair, and drive the agenda for global calls and communication.
• Work with every company discipline to align on product requirements, and get frequent, fast-moving changes back to the technical teams.
• Distill and present key project risks, status, and decision points to the cross-functional Boston teams (Marketing, Quality, PMO leads), then redirect the engineering team based on those outcomes.
• Closely manage project spend, flag risks and overspends regularly, and report to Finance monthly.

What you'll bring

Required

• 2+ years in project management, or in an engineering role.
• Experience taking a project through the full lifecycle.
• Experience presenting regularly to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and their limits.
• Skilled in Jira and Microsoft Office — Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• A hands-on work ethic.

Nice to have

• Plastics or consumer products experience.
• Board of directors / executive team presenting experience.
• Budget management experience.
• Bilingual — Chinese and English.
