Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Phoenix - Neenah, WI 54956Salary Range: $11.00 - $13.00 HourlyJOB SUMMARY:This position is responsible for direct care in a group home for disabled adults and maintaining the safety, quality and efficiency standards for the individuals living in the home. Also adhering to Empowerment Living Services (ELS) policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES:Main responsibilities include; maintaining and assisting clients with personal cares, daily living, meal preparation, behavioral management, medication administration, housekeeping, transportation, community integration, and other care as needed. Caregivers provide companionship such as conversations and social interaction with clients, maintain proper documentations and reports on clients’ behavioral and medical progress and services performed via online/computer. Maintaining HIPAA compliance when speaking with clients, office staff, caregivers, and 3rd party individuals. Caregivers will be asked to perform other duties as assigned based on needs of the clients and the company. Must be able to work on 1st shift, 7:00AM to 3:00PM, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and holidays as assigned. Overtime may be required as needed. This opening is located in Oshkosh, WI, but at times the successful candidates may be asked to work at other location as needed. This position is very active and requires walking, standing, bending, and kneeling daily. Must be able to frequently lift objects and clients weighting over 50 pounds. Applicants must follow all safety programs.Qualifications· Experience: Must have three (3) months of work history with one employer in the past 12 months. One (1) years of experience in related field preferred. · Education: High school diploma preferred. · License: Valid Driver's License and Auto insurance required. · Must be 18 years or older. · Must pass criminal record, driving record and pre-employment health screenings (physical health exam, TB test (communicable disease screenings) and drug test by a physician designated by the employer) and applicable training.
