About The Opportunity

The Associate Structural Designer is responsible for creating and developing innovative packaging solutions. They work on the design, specifications, and prototypes of packaging materials, considering factors like visual aesthetics, structural integrity, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability. Overall, the Associate Structural Designer plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged in a way that is both functional and appealing.

·        Create detailed structural packaging designs that meet customer and operational requirements

·        Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with specifications

·        Produce prototypes and samples to support customer presentations and production validation

·        Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, providing timely updates to stakeholders

·        Assist in developing specifications, diagrams, and documentation for production orders

·        Participate in or lead product testing to validate design performance

Education & Experience

 

·        High school diploma required, associate’s degree in design, engineering, or related field preferred

·        0–2 years of experience in structural design, packaging, or related discipline

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

·        Proficiency in ArtiosCAD; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Cinema 4D is a plus

·        Strong communication and collaboration skills

·        High attention to detail and commitment to design quality

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

 

·        Primarily office-based

·        Occasional travel may be required for customer visits, audits, or production support
