Overview
Join our inpatient Cardiovascular Service Line at Jersey Shore University Medical Center as an expert Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner. This role is focused on managing complex heart failure patients using a patient-centered, collaborative care model. We are seeking a candidate with significant clinical expertise in cardiac surgery, the cath lab, or CCU/ED. While experience in a private practice cardiology setting is preferred, a strong inpatient cardiac background is essential. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care as a key member of our hospital team in Neptune, NJ.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Proven clinical competency maintained through ongoing clinical practice and continuing education.
- Experience in a relevant patient care setting.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer platforms, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Ability to maintain a collaborative practice agreement with staff physicians.
Required Licenses & Certifications:
- Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- Active Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification in New Jersey.
- Board certification from AANP or ANCC.
- BLS (AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP) Certification.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Active CDS and DEA registrations for prescriptive authority in New Jersey.
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
Starting Minimum Rate
