We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Administrative Specialist to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support our distribution operations through efficient administrative management and coordination. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in office administration, experience in distribution environments, and proficiency with essential software tools.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain accurate records of warehouse transactions, including accounts receivable and payable

- Coordinate communication between warehouse staff, suppliers, and other departments

- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, to prepare reports, schedules, and correspondence

- Assist in inventory management and documentation processes

- Support daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations

- Monitor and update data related to shipments, deliveries, and stock levels


Work Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and equipment operation.

 
Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift 
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly 
  • Ability to safely operate and mount/dismount forklifts 
  • Capable of working 8-hour shifts with continuous physical activity 

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-Time 
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

  

 

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Prior experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High school diploma required; college experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
