CDL DRIVER

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$26.50/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am Start Time

Location:

Pittsburgh, PA 15225

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook 

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 2-5 routes per shift 

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-11 hour shifts 

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years 

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older 

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle 

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician 

• No record of being disqualified to drive 

• Successful completion of a DOT road test 

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed  

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years 

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time

• The noise level in the work environment depends on location 

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
