- SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
Senior Production Scheduler serves as a key connection between the Customer Experience Team and Manufacturing, translating customers' needs and business priorities into executable production plans. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining production plans that align with customer demand, production capacity, and operational priorities. This role works closely with Customer Experience, Production, Quality, Procurement, Compounding and other cross-functional teams to ensure products are available on time and new products are introduced smoothly into production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Creating and maintaining schedules.
- Using workers and resources in the most effective manner.
- Providing quick responses to production issues.
- Identifying problems and helping improve processes.
- Using software to generate reports and schedules.
- Ensuring that company deadlines are met.
- Partner directly with Customer Experience to understand customer requirements, upcoming launches, demand changes, special orders, and service-level priorities.
- Coordinate and support production line trails and pilot runs, ensuring schedules, materials labor, and resources are available for trial activities.
- Adjust production schedules as needed in response to changes in customer demand, supply availability, production performance, or business priorities.
- Partner with Customer Experience to communicate realistic production timelines and provide timely updates regarding order status, launch timing, and potential schedule changes.
- Recommend process optimizations, cost-saving strategies, and quality improvements
- Demonstrate strong time management, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency

- POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day depending on shift assigned.

- REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- At least 2 years of experience.

- PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Bilingual a plus
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

- English language and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
