Position Summary

We’re looking for a hands‑on Machine Shop Supervisor to lead and develop a team in a fast‑paced, high‑mix manufacturing environment. This leader will drive daily production performance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work area. The ideal candidate is people‑focused, process‑driven, and energized by solving problems on the floor, removing bottlenecks, and helping their team succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support employees.
  • Help train team members and build their skills.
  • Assign daily work based on production needs.
  • Jump in to help when production bottlenecks occur.
  • Follow and enforce all safety rules.
  • Complete accident or incident reports when needed.
  • Suggest improvements to processes, tooling, and workflow.
  • Monitor performance metrics and share updates with leadership.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of machining or manufacturing supervisory experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in employee training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Computer literacy and strong communication skills.
