Position Summary
We’re looking for a hands‑on Machine Shop Supervisor to lead and develop a team in a fast‑paced, high‑mix manufacturing environment. This leader will drive daily production performance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work area. The ideal candidate is people‑focused, process‑driven, and energized by solving problems on the floor, removing bottlenecks, and helping their team succeed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support employees.
- Help train team members and build their skills.
- Assign daily work based on production needs.
- Jump in to help when production bottlenecks occur.
- Follow and enforce all safety rules.
- Complete accident or incident reports when needed.
- Suggest improvements to processes, tooling, and workflow.
- Monitor performance metrics and share updates with leadership.
Minimum QualificationsÂ
- 4+ years of machining or manufacturing supervisory experience (or equivalent).
- Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in employee training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Computer literacy and strong communication skills.
