The Job: Â
As a Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll be part of our Plastics team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to: Â
- Inventory accuracy is maintained in warehouses by monitoring negative inventory, conducting root cause analysis for discrepancies, and performing cycle counts according to SBD policy.
- Receiving functions are carried out as needed, including handling receivers for drop ship materials and maintaining quarantine locations.
- The integrity of QA and outside warehouse locations is preserved by generating, sharing, and reviewing relevant reports.
- MUV reviews are conducted, including attending meetings to ensure proper oversight of materials.
- Work orders and sub-supplier processes are verified and coordinated daily with other departments.
- Requisition requests are processed promptly, and invoice dashboard maintenance is performed to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Metrics are calculated and posted regularly, and all incoming packing concern sheets are documented, reported, and followed up.
- IPS uploads for CPD Freight and maintenance of materials in the BFLSH location in JDE are managed efficiently.
- Sales orders are entered, coordinated, and scheduled, while scrap requests from QA are processed weekly upon approval.
- The role includes assisting other facilities with work order corrections, coordinating excess and obsolete write-offs and disposal, supporting inventory control best practices, ensuring compliance, participating in weekly leadership reviews, and performing other duties as assigned, including working overtime when required.

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional education in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management preferred.
- Candidates should have at least two years of automotive experience with OEM and Tier customers, as well as prior experience in warehouse inventory control or asset management.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, including Future 3 Automotive Release software, JD Edwards, and MS Office Suite, is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to analyze and distribute workloads are essential for this role.
- Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively or independently, physical capability to handle warehouse tasks up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety and compliance standards..

The Salary range for this position is $38,300.00 - $61,600.00This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
