Semi-Tractor Trailer Driver Job Description:

Drive locally in Southeastern Michigan area
Perform proper maintenance checks to ensure that all mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in proper working order
Must be able to fill out and keep accurate log / records
Be able to operate a forklift to load and unload shipment on truck
Delivering products in a timely and courteous manner
Obtain signatures to confirm order completion
Inspect and maintain cleanliness of vehicle
Follow all truck safety procedures
Verify the quantity of material
Provide great customer service to our customers
Secure products in truck for proper transport
Adhere to Department of Transportation regulations
Follow verbal and written instructions
Cross training as needed

Semi-Tractor Trailer Driver Requirements:

Must possess a current CDL Class A license, DOT physical long form and medical card
Have a minimum of five years’ experience (preferred) in operating a semi-tractor trailer
Be a dependable and dedicated individual who takes pride in safety and exhibits good driving skills at all times and possess a good driving record

Wage determined based on experience
Base Wage will be reviewed after 90 Days of employment
