About the Role:
LIV SAVVY CONSTRUCTION LLC is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in New Bedford, MA. This is a hands-on opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship on exciting remodel construction projects while working alongside a dedicated and professional crew. If you take pride in quality work and love building things that last, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other building materials
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, framing, and trim
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential and/or commercial projects
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks, structures, or fixtures
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople on job sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
- be abel to work alone or with team members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar construction trade role home remodeing knowledge is plussss
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and building codes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in the New Bedford, MA area
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to quality craftsmanship
