The Senior Financial Analyst helps support the global financial consolidation process, ensuring the accumulation, processing, and interpretation of information necessary for the preparation of accurate, timely, and relevant internal and external financial statements.  They manage the corporate general ledger, performing the accounting function and reconciling accounts. They also support in financial analysis throughout the business to identify opportunities, risks and interpret the financial results. The Senior Financial Analyst is also a key support role to help produce meaningful financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.  This person works with others to participate in continuous improvement activities and to support Company initiatives.

  • Assist in the month end close process by loading financial results in OneStream (financial consolidation system), loading and distributing FX rates, managing monthly headcount reporting, preparing and recording journal entries, reviewing and resolving intercompany transactions, analyzing financial results, and reporting on key variance drivers.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end financial reports, Board of Directors materials, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly Corporate reporting and liaise with Corporate departments to manage spending.
  • Support functional leaders, including the executive team, through business partnership and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Manage the Corporate ledger, including accounting and monthly reconciliations.
  • Assist in the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, both at Corporate and in the business units.
  • Perform financial analysis to help identify issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Serve as an administrator for finance systems and perform periodic maintenance, including but not limited to OneStream and SAP. 
  • Support enhancement projects for key finance systems.
  • Support internal audit initiatives and ensure compliance with Corporate policies.
  • Assist in the annual financial and bank audits of the Company’s financial statements.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of progressively responsible related experience.
  • Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: CPA is preferred.
  • Computer Applications Skills: OneStream and SAP experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work in a Windows environment with standard current computer applications is required.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with management, peers, and information users.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions using learned techniques and tools.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. 
  • Ability to understand and apply learned concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organization and decision-making skills.
  • Motivated self-starter who can effectively work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
