EMT Paramedic - Emergency Medical Services

**Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 for full time employees

Job Summary: The Paramedic will provide emergency medical care and transportation for patients. This position will also perform departmental duties for CarolinaEast Health System, EMS department, and the EMS manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current North Carolina Paramedic credential.
• Have and maintain a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of North Carolina.
• Any personnel operating a CarolinaEast owned ambulance must have a minimum of three years' driving experience.
• Ability to drive an ambulance safely and efficiently.
• Successful completion of Emergency Vehicle Drive (EVD) course within one year of hire. 
• Maintenance of EVD certification; required EVD refresher course every two years.
• One year experience at the Paramedic level preferred.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certification.
• Obtain PHTLS certification within one year from date of hire.
