Carimar Salon Group is looking for stylists interested in joining our family. We are a local, family owned business operating salons in Southeastern NC. We have locations in Surf City, Wilmington, Jacksonville, and New Bern. If you are passionate about being part of a supportive team and providing guests with the type of experience that makes them feel great we'd love to talk to you. You will have the opportunity to guide the decisions we make and help the business grow while being provided lots of opportunity for your own personal growth.

We offer a pay plan that rewards your hard work. Commission up to 50% of your service and 10% of your retail while being supported by a double digit base wage in the event you don’t commission. We make sure to keep our prices competitive and fair to our guests, but high enough that your commission can earn you a serious living. In addition to that, you’ll be eligible to receive free health insurance in most cases, and can earn the right to make your own schedule.

Desired skills:

• Hair dresser / stylist / cosmetologist experience
• Cosmetology license
• Salon experience preferred (in school or professional)
• Experience using different types of scissors, trimmers and other tools to create hairstyles
• An understanding of the different types of hairstyles a person can request and how to achieve those looks
• A willingness to learn about new styles and techniques
• The ability to communicate with customers and understand a look they want, even if they don’t know the technical terms for a certain style
