Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and assist with vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash receptacles, and other cleaning duties for resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and other common areas in the community
  • Assist in cleaning of occupied residences and common areas
  • Assist with cleaning and refurbishing of vacated residences in a timely manner
  • Schedule and implement deep cleaning procedures
  • Oversee and assist with laundry
  • Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Interview and select new associates
  • Schedule and train housekeeping staff
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Listen to and respond to resident problems, complaints, and suggestions regarding housekeeping


Skills/Requirements:

  • 2 years of work experience in a hospitality environment (hotel, country club, or resort)
  • 6 months supervisory experience
  • Great organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
  • Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals, as well as being exposed to chemical fumes, dust, and pet dander
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move 30 pounds
