Description
Overview:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to conveyors, forklifts, buildings and all other equipment as required.
Essential Functions:
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment. (Forklifts, conveyors, building and other equipment.)
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Repair. (Forklifts, conveyors, building and other equipment.)
- Able to learn and use work order system.
- Schedule and maintain records of preventative maintenance on key machinery and equipment.
- Assist in the general upkeep of the facility.
- Work with contractors and vendors to solve problems.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Other duties as determined by supervisor to be necessary in performance of the job.
Requirements
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
路 At least 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience and preferred in Distribution/Warehouse facility.
路 Mechanical knowledge required.
路 Electrical experience preferred.
路 Welding and cutting preferred.
路 Trouble shooting Electrical and mechanical.
路 Experience working on conveyor systems preferred.
路 Able to perform basic building maintenance such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry.
路 General warehouse experience.
路 Basic computer skills required.
路 Must have a valid TX driver license and reliable transportation.
路 Previous experience in fast pace environment.
路 Able to life 50lb, bend, kneel, squat, stand and work in elevated heights.
