Job DetailsJob Location: Donatelle - New Brighton - New Brighton, MN 55112Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.50 - $23.00 HourlyOverview of Responsibilities: Automation Responsibilities Set-up automation cells to run including power, air, and fill/refill consumable materials such as silicone Assemble/disassemble and clean integrated gluing valve mechanisms in automation cells Change glue cartridges when necessary and prime system Verify proper functioning of gluing processes at startup and during in-process Verify proper functioning of vision systems, sensors, leak test equipment and other monitoring devices Collect QA samples from automation cells for verification by Quality Review scrap trending on automation cell and make adjustments as required Troubleshoot equipment alarms, out of tolerance items, and/or equipment stoppages Perform line clearance within automation cells Change over sealing equipment drums between part numbers Direct operators to refill components as necessary Communicate with Automation Technicians for issues of more technical nature/non-standard issues Replace mandrel pins on pallets if they become damaged Inspection and Measurement Responsibilities Verify that parts being produced and used by production meet print specifications dimensionally and visually Inspect parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment Enter part and process inspection data into SPC software General Responsibilities Follow prescribed Work Instructions and utilize equipment as directed Monitor equipment settings and document the information Monitor and stage components as needed End of Run responsibilities including line clearance, part reconciliation, IQ transactions, (PRA) documentation verification such as label reconciliation, component reconciliation, traceability records etc. Assist with training of production personnel as required Responsibility to protect Donatelle confidential information and Intellectual Property Performs other duties as assigned Follows safety requirements as defined in Safety Manual QualificationsPreferred Qualifications: Education/Experience: Mathematics course work at a high school level required 2 years of experience in plastic injection molding, metal machining or medical device assembly Other Qualifications and Desired Skills: Strong trouble shooting & problem-solving skills Automation and/or secondary operations experience preferred Quality inspection experience preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Lifting up to 35 pounds 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses Benefits and Pay: Benefits: Medical insurance Dental insurance Basic and voluntary life insurance Short and long-term disability insurance 401(k) retirement options with a company match Paid time off Paid holidays Annual incentive bonus opportunities Flexible spending accounts Legal/ID Shield protection plan Educational assistance and tuition reimbursement programs Pay: Hourly pay range: $20 to $28 Plus shift differential if applicable
