We are looking for an experienced Territory Manager to join our team, focusing on Vents and Respiratroty DME
Total compensation includes a combination of base salary and commission, with on-target earnings ranging between $100,000 to $180,000
This position will cover Hartford County & Springfield, MA
Reliable Respiratory is a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company that provides the highest quality level of service for patients in need of respiratory, diabetes, urology, and maternity support. Equipment provided includes, CPAPs, BiPAPs, AutoPAPs, nebulizers, oxygen equipment, ventilators, CGM devices, insulin pumps, and breast pumps. Each patient is treated with professionalism, understanding, and attentive service. We care about our customers, work closely with the medical community, and have highly skilled staff ready to assist customers in receiving the best care possible.
- Develop and manage relationships with pulmonologists, intensivists, hospital systems, case managers, respiratory departments, LTACHs, and SNFs.
- Execute territory growth plans to expand ventilator and respiratory referral volume.
- Conduct educational presentations and in-services regarding home ventilation, NIV, oxygen, airway clearance, and related respiratory therapies.
- Identify opportunities for new account development and increased market penetration.
- Attend industry conferences, provider meetings, and community events.
- Work closely with referral sources to coordinate timely patient discharges.
- Assist in qualifying patients for home ventilation programs.
- Collaborate with intake, clinical, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition to home.
- Support patient and caregiver education regarding ventilator therapy and respiratory equipment.
- Serve as a resource to referral sources regarding payer requirements and documentation standards.
- Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts.
- Track referral activity and growth opportunities.
- Perform ongoing customer satisfaction outreach.
- Resolve service issues and escalate concerns as needed.
- Document sales activities within CRM.
- Track territory performance against established goals.
- Provide monthly business reviews and growth plans.
Required QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of healthcare sales, respiratory sales, or DME experience.
- Strong understanding of hospital discharge planning processes.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require authorization from us now or in the future.
- Have a valid and current driver’s license from the state of residenceÂ
- Have at least 3 years verifiable driving experienceÂ
- Have no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents on the driving record within the past 3 years
- Have no misdemeanor conviction relating in any way to the operation of a motor vehicle where you have been convicted of, or released from incarceration, within the past three years (other than a first conviction for any of the following misdemeanors: drunkenness, simple assault, speeding, minor traffic violations, affray or disturbance of the peace) and no felony convictions
- Have no DUI/ OUI withing the past 5 years
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Home ventilation, NIV, or complex respiratory experience.
- Existing relationships with pulmonology and critical care referral sources.
- Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements.
