Description

Primary Accountability – Responsible for the resource deployment and management of equipment and facility resources. Perform scheduling functions and daily project support requirements to ensure the successful completion of field service projects.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the development of daily and weekly schedules for labor and equipment resources.
  • Review and distribute Work Requests and other necessary paperwork to field supervisors and foreman prior to start of projects.
  • Fulfill responsibilities as requested for spills or job coverage needs.
  • Participate in daily schedule meetings to ensure field and equipment resources are available and in operational condition.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies on a proactive basis to ensure operations staff can mobilize to their job site with minimal loading/downtime in the AM.
  • Quality control and assurance responsibilities for all field service operations.
  • Ensure a proper review and approval of weekly time sheets and vacation requests.
  • Support readiness with equipment resource preparedness.
  • Fulfill on-call responsibilities as delegated. 
  • Enforcement of the standards of conduct as defined in the company handbook.
  • Coordination with administration staff, i.e. sales, accounting, project management and waste management, for the efficient execution and completion of all projects.
  • Arrange for, retrieve and return rental equipment as necessary. 
  • Calibration of safety equipment and monitors, specialty safety equipment, and confined space entry devices.
  • Maintain inventory including ordering and stocking.
  • Assist the H&S Department with statistic accumulation and follow-up. Assist in performing secondary responsibilities as requested by management.
  • Ensure new field employees are acclimated to their roles and responsibilities, safety and work requirements, paperwork, being on call and other expectations.
  • Participate in field employee meetings in order to maintain open communications between the field services group and management.
  • Maintain or acquire individual certifications as directed by management.
  • Strong communication with senior operations personnel in order to effectively communicate labor, equipment, maintenance, and inventory status.
  • Commitment to general teamwork in support of all aspects of daily activities to ensure the profitability and sustained growth of the corporation.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 2-5 years field service operations experience (preferred)

Competencies:

  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Leadership and supervisory skills 
  • Knowledge of equipment, environmental regulations/statutes, safety and compliance (strongly preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications

Physical Requirements:

  • Always requires near visual acuity, speaking and listening
  • Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, grasping and reaching
  • May occasionally require lifting less than 50 lbs., pulling and/or pushing and carrying
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs. 
  • Ability to wear a respirator 
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients,
  • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
  • Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

Lewis will provide to the employee, a thorough medical exam, enrollment in the company’s random drug and alcohol program, perform 40 hour OSHA CFR 1910.120 HAZWOPER training, and various other specific training to perform daily job functions.
