In this role, you’ll be both a mentor to staff and a trusted support for the individuals in your care. You'll help with daily routines, encourage independence, and create meaningful experiences—at home and in the community. This is a hands-on, team-oriented position where no two days are the same and every day matters.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care

  • Give medications and follow health plans (we will train you)

  • Drive individuals to appointments, work, or fun activities

  • Help people build life skills and try new things

  • Encourage individuals to speak up and make their own choices

  • Keep clear records and fill out forms as needed

  • Communicate with coworkers, families, and medical staff

  • Mentor and support other staff on your shift

  • Help with money tracking, supplies, and scheduling

  • Keep the home safe and follow emergency steps if needed
     

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

  • 1–3 years of experience in direct care or a health-related job

  • Must pass background checks and drug test

  • Able to complete CPR, First Aid, and Medication training

  • Good communication skills and ability to follow directions
