Job DetailsJob Location: ATEK Metal Technologies - New Hampton, IA 50659Position Type: Full TimeFirst Shift Maintenance Technician  ATEK Metal Technologies is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production operations and facility infrastructure. This hands-on position plays a vital role in keeping our equipment and systems running efficiently and safely. We’re looking for a proactive, safety-minded problem-solver with strong technical ability and a passion for maintaining world-class manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of maintenance duties, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines and facility systems. Lead and perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; advanced technical training preferred. Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance.  Proven ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings. Proficient with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and material handling equipment. Must pass ATEK Functional Job Analysis and Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
