The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing meal plans, and providing education on healthy eating habits. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient health and well-being.   Key Responsibilities: Assess patients' dietary and nutritional needs based on medical history and current health conditions. Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to promote optimal health. Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition, meal planning, and dietary modifications. Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as necessary. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition care into overall treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, plans, and progress. Stay up-to-date with the latest nutritional research and best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations regarding nutrition and dietetics. QualificationsDietary Technician Qualifications: Associate’s degree (AAS) in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited college or university. Minimum of two years of post-graduate work experience preferred. Basic computer skills are desirable. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
