Job Title: CDL-A Truck Driver
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL-A Truck Driver to safely transport freight to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer)
- Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation (ELD)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status and delays
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport
- Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of truck and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- Minimum [1–2 years] of verifiable driving experience (preferred)
- Clean driving record and background check
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and communication skills
