Position Summary
We are seeking reliable, service-minded individuals who enjoy helping people, keeping information organized, and finding practical solutions. As a Trip Support Specialist, you will assist travelers as they prepare for upcoming vacations and help make the planning process easier to navigate.
Your work will involve communicating with clients, researching travel possibilities, supporting reservation coordination, and keeping important trip details on track. You will also help answer questions and provide updates as clients move closer to departure.
Travel-industry experience is not required. We provide initial training, access to supplier resources, continued education, and ongoing support to help new team members learn the role.
How You'll Assist Travelers
- Communicate with clients to gather details about upcoming trips and requested travel services
- Identify important factors such as travel dates, destination ideas, vacation interests, budget range, and accommodation preferences
- Search approved resources for hotels, resorts, cruises, transportation, tours, attractions, excursions, and vacation packages
- Review available travel products and identify choices that correspond with client requests
- Help travelers understand available options by providing clear and useful information
- Support the coordination of selected accommodations, transportation, activities, and other trip arrangements
- Work with authorized supplier systems and company resources when managing travel services
- Organize reservation details and combine individual trip components into easy-to-follow plans
- Provide clients with confirmations, schedules, itinerary details, and applicable travel information
- Keep track of outstanding selections, documentation, deadlines, and other items needed before travel
- Follow up with travelers regarding incomplete information or upcoming planning requirements
- Answer questions related to existing reservations and trip preparations
- Assist with routine booking updates, date changes, cancellations, and special requests when needed
- Review traveler information and reservation records to identify missing or incorrect details
- Document client communications, preferences, requests, and reservation activity within company systems
- Continue learning about destinations, suppliers, and travel products through ongoing educational programs
