Electrician

Position Overview:
The Part-Time Electrician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, lighting, and related systems

• Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices

• Follow electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents

• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of projects

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut E-2 Journeyperson or E-1 Unlimited Electrical License (required)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed electrician

• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time position (flexible hours; approximately 15–25 hours per week)

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience

• Potential for full-time employment as workload grows
