As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Rounds in Troy, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes, document activity using a computer and/or tablet, and provide professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting details promptly to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to identify and report unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Control access points by verifying identification and visitor authorization, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, monitor for hazards and security-related issues such as damaged doors or fencing, and coordinate with on-site teams as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
