FlexStaff is seeking Radiologic Technologists with experience with interventional radiology to work for one of our external clients, the largest city health system for their location in Queens, NY.

Available shifts: 

  • 8:00AM-4:30PM with rotating weekends and holidays
  • 11:00AM-7:30PM with alternating weekends

Requirements:

  • Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • IV Contrast certs
  • BCLS

 

Salary Range Based on Experience.

In this role you would be performing typical tasks for special procedures with diagnostic and interventional radiography.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Prepares the radiological area, equipment, and supplies for patient x-rays, ensuring proper procedures and safety protocols are followed.
  • Readies and positions patients for x-rays, explains procedures, and provides assistance post-examination.
  • Administers general and specialized x-rays, adjusting equipment and techniques as needed while monitoring patient and equipment conditions during procedures.
  • Develops images in accordance with photographic standards and utilizes electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation.
  • Maintains inventory and records of supplies and equipment to ensure operational viability.
  • Assists and oversees radiographers, providing training and guidance in various procedures.
  • Coordinates daily activities to ensure workflow efficiency and may supervise assigned personnel as needed.
