Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - OB/GYN Brooklyn

FlexStaff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with OB/GYN Women's Health experience for our client, a hospital in Brooklyn. 

Salary: $35.85-38.99/hr  commensurate with experience

Full-time 5 days/week

Responsibilities

• Assisting the physician in treatments and procedures
• Monitoring of patient's vital signs, patient intake and output, and recording patient history
• Reports data relating to patient's health status to appropriate clinical staff
• Identifies patient goals, communicates, and collaborates with clinical team to support patient care plan
• Administration of medication, injections and functions in the scope of the license
• Cleaning of equipment in patient care areas
• Maintain patient care rooms to ensure they are kept clean, and supplies are well stocked.
• Maintain records of patient activities and observations
• Submit records to the appropriate clinical staff regarding patient's condition
• Assist with scheduling patients, authorizations and referrals to support office staff as needed
• Cross-cover multiple practices
• Rooming patients
• Overseeing patient flow

Qualifications:

• Education
• Required
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

Licenses & Certifications

• BLS CERT AMERICAN HEART required
• NYS LPN license required
