Position Summary:聽Greets, welcomes, directs and escorts patients and visitors聽at聽the Hospital lobbies (including Emergency Room Lobby). Displays knowledge of hospital and area locations and offers support for staff and visitors.聽聽聽Assists聽with wheelchair transport. Position will include evening and weekend hours.聽
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:聽
Customer Service representative in the lobby areas聽
Displays knowledge of hospital and area locations聽
Offers support and knowledge for staff and visitors聽
Must be able to聽assist聽with wheelchair transport of patients聽聽
Must be able to physically聽assist聽patients聽into聽and out of a vehicle as needed.聽
Promotes a clean and safe environment of care,聽utilizing聽the SAFE error prevention habits聽聽
Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct聽
Required Qualifications:聽聽聽
Education and Training:聽
High school diploma or equivalent聽preferred.聽聽聽
Minimum of 1 year service ambassador and/or hospitality experience required.聽聽聽
Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.聽聽聽
Basic computer skills聽required; Meditech experience preferred.聽聽聽聽
Must have excellent customer service skills displaying compassion, empathy and聽problem solving聽skills in a聽fast paced聽environment and/or emergent situations.聽聽聽
Must have the ability to stand for聽long periods聽of time and聽assist聽with wheelchair transport of patients.聽聽聽
This position requires the flexibility to work afternoon and evening shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.聽
