Pay Rate: Range $3000 to $3200 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Shifts available: Days
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, Any 4 days of the week, weekends TBD, 8 to 10 days of On-call in a monthÂ
- Registered Nurse experience: 2+ years - Required
- Cath Lab RN experience: 2+ years current - RequiredÂ
- Interventional Radiology experience: 2+ years current - Required
- Moderate sedation experience - Required
- Experience with Cerner - Preferred
- Prior Travel experience – Preferred
- ASN Degree or Diploma in Nursing - Required
- BSN Degree in Nursing - Preferred
- RN License for the State of Illinois – Required
- AHA BLS, ACLS Certifications - Required
- Covid Vaccination Proof - RequiredÂ
Job Description:
- Assist as RN during the procedures:Â Cardiac catheterization, EP ablations, peripheral angiograms, cerebral angiograms, and TEE/Cardioversions.
- Responsible for assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs.
- Responsible to see that nursing care plans are carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel.Â
- Conducts patient evaluation, performs documentation of patient progress, treatment planning and discharge functions.
- Acting as the first point of contact for referrals and patients
- Attending patient consultations
- Performing initial examinations and patient assessments
- Making recommendations to the referring physician, the patient, and patient’s family under the guidance of the interventional radiologist
- Performing daily rounds and communicating patient progress to the medical staff and the radiologist
- Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
