Position Summary:聽Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating聽the nursing聽care for assigned patients. The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing.聽 Provides leadership and supervision to CNA/SNA and other healthcare workers as assigned.聽
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:聽
Assesses each patient鈥檚 physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs聽聽
Plans and implements a plan of care with the聽appropriate nursing聽interventions specific to the age population served聽
Assesses educational needs of patient/ families implementing teaching strategies聽
Evaluate care given including the patient response聽
Documents nursing care in the medical record聽
Provides delegation and supervision to CNA, SNA and other healthcare workers who聽assist聽the nurse in the plan of care聽
Administers medications and treatments as prescribed聽
Promotes a clean and safe environment of care,聽utilizing聽the SAFE error prevention habits聽聽
Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct聽

Required Qualifications:聽聽聽
Education and Training:聽
CPR certified聽
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure per Nurse Practice Act聽

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
