Job DetailsJob Location: New London, WI 54961Position Type: Full TimeJob Purpose Provides for well-being and comfort of staff, students, and visitors by maintaining all rawhide buildings and grounds for work, school, and residence.   Essential Job Functions Perform routine and preventative maintenance on products and buildings. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions. Repair and service landscape, electrical and HVAC systems.     Job Responsibilities Maintains buildings by painting; occasional cleaning; completing repairs and maintenance requests as assigned; performing preventive maintenance from weekly, monthly, and seasonal lists; restocking paper products. Performs general carpentry by marking cutting and assembly lines on materials; shaping materials to measurements; assembling and fastening cut and shaped materials; using carpenter's hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Performs minor repairs to electrical systems by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, such as lighting fixtures; determining faulty wiring; inspecting and testing faulty equipment. Maintains plumbing systems by repairing faucets; opening clogged drains. Maintains building climate by servicing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (hvac) systems. Ensures operation of seasonal equipment by sharpening mower blades, changing fluids, checking belts and chains on lawn equipment and chainsaws; cleaning equipment to be ready for seasonal storage. Maintains landscape and roads by removing brush; performing landscape installations; trimming trees; operating heavy equipment for grading, hauling, and snow removal. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by completing required trainings; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Protects the credibility of the rawhide mission by complying with the rawhide standard of conduct; setting an example, in words and actions, that is consistent with the values and beliefs of rawhide.
