You will collaborate closely with counseling staff, external providers, and community partners as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Use motivational interviewing to coach and empower clients toward positive outcomes
  • Refer clients to other support services as needed, including medical evaluation and treatment, social services, and employment services
  • Use professional judgment, in conjunction with assigned providers, to plan, develop, and implement effective intervention plans that support a continuum of care and the most positive clinical outcomes

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with or knowledge of motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and community resource coordination preferred
  • Commitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and SCADD's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
