At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician/Electrician to join our team in Groton, CT.
The hourly rate for this position is $29.10-$37.59 - Hours – 40 hours a week – Monday – Friday – 10p-6:30a

The Role
As a Maintenance Technician/ Electrician you will use your experience to support reactive and planned preventative maintenance on site, while using your passion for electronics to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
You will install, maintain, and replace automation systems throughout the production process; repairing and maintaining the computer-controlled systems and robotic devices used within the facility.
You will respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively, while ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within regulations.
You will work closely with all departments on site, to share your knowledge and coach other members of the team and will play an integral part in many site wide projects, from installing new machinery, to reconfigurations.
As a Maintenance Technician/ Electrician you may be the sole point of contact on site, so must be confident in your own skill and completing appropriate documentation.

Qualifications
3 years previous experience in a similar role.

Ideally you will have completed an Advanced Apprenticeship or HNC equivalent in in Electrical engineering with a good PLC knowledge in programming, fault finding and diagnosis.
