Job Summary

St. Joseph School is seeking a faith-filled, student-centered educator committed to academic excellence and the mission of Catholic education. The Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment that supports the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth of students.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a passion for teaching, strong classroom management skills, collaboration with colleagues and families, and a commitment to fostering a culture of faith, truth, and love in accordance with the mission of St. Joseph School and the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with curriculum requirements.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Assess student progress through formal and informal assessments and provide timely feedback.
Utilize instructional technology and best practices to enhance student learning.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote student responsibility and accountability.
Foster positive relationships with students while supporting their social and emotional development.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Missouri teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
Strong instructional, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
