What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the coordination and management of academics, career technical training, testing and career development services in compliance with government and management directives.  

Essential functions: 

  1. Plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative and programmatic activities of the directorate. 
  2. Develop and implement procedures, systems and curricula for the center, coordinate CDSS plan development and updates, coordinate the Career Success Standards.
  3. Coordinate with other center staff concerning programmatic matters, including the national training contractors and training subcontractors.
  4. Provide oversight for the industry council for appropriate CTT programs.
  5. Oversee the scheduling system to ensure adequate assignment of staff resources and balanced class loads.  
  6. Monitor class absentee rates and take appropriate corrective action. Monitor center outcome measurement system (OMS) performance measures. Ensure all reports, records and documentation is maintained as required. 

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three (3) years related experience, two (2) of which should be supervisory. 
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
