Position Summary

• The College of Business invites applications for an Adjunct Professor in Marketing to teach undergraduate marketing courses. This position supports the Business Administration program and requires a faculty member committed to academic excellence, ethical instruction, and student engagement.

• The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, student success, and the ability to collaboration with faculty and staff, as well as the ability to teach foundational, and upper-level marketing courses while integrating contemporary marketing practices, including artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, into marketing strategy and decision-making.

• This is a 100% in-person instructional position.


Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in areas such as marketing principles, consumer behavior, digital marketing, strategic marketing, marketing research, and international marketing.

• Incorporate current trends, data analytics, and artificial intelligence applications in marketing where appropriate.

• Emphasize ethical decision-making, professional responsibility, and integrity in marketing practice.

• Maintain regular and accessible office hours (virtual or in-person as assigned).

• Provide academic support and mentorship to students.

• Submit grades and required academic documentation in a timely manner.

• Participate in course assessment and continuous improvement efforts consistent with ACBSP standards.


Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing, or a closely related business discipline with appropriate graduate coursework in Marketing, from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Marketing from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated potential for effective undergraduate teaching.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching at the college or university level.

• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools, AI applications in marketing, or digital marketing platforms.

• Commitment to mentoring students and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

• Professional experience in marketing, branding, analytics, digital marketing, AI-driven marketing, or related areas preferred.
