  • Support site investigation, remediation, and hazardous waste management projects from field execution through reportingĀ 
  • Contribute high‑quality environmental data used for regulatory decision‑making and client strategiesĀ 
  • Help implement innovative investigation and remediation technologies alongside ERM’s technical expertsĀ 
  • Build the experience and competencies required to pursue professional licensureĀ

What You'll Bring:Ā 

RequiredĀ 

  • BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experienceĀ 
  • 1+ years of relevant experience, or strong interest in field‑based environmental workĀ 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and interpret technical dataĀ 
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast‑paced consulting environment while meeting deadlinesĀ 
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skillsĀ 
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all health and safety protocolsĀ 
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability toĀ operateĀ a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.Ā 
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.Ā 

PreferredĀ 

  • Prior environmental fieldwork experienceĀ 
  • 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificationĀ 
  • Familiarity with environmental sampling methods, drilling oversight, or remediation systemsĀ 

Key Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Conduct field activities including soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water samplingĀ 
  • Oversee drilling operations, soil borings, monitoring well installation, development, purging, and samplingĀ 
  • Perform aquifer testing, soil logging, and construction oversightĀ 
  • Coordinate subcontractors for drilling, surveying, and laboratory servicesĀ 
  • Support environmental remediation projects, including system operations and maintenanceĀ 
  • Compile, evaluate, and interpret environmental media dataĀ 
  • Assist with regulatory reporting, including data review, figures, and technical exhibitsĀ 
  • Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for property transactionsĀ 
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulationsĀ 
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulators, tenants, and clients during field activitiesĀ 
  • Deliver work in alignment with project budgets, schedules, and quality expectationsĀ 
  • Travel regionally up to 50% as project needs requireĀ
