Job DetailsJob Location: New Orleans LA - New Orleans, LA 70163Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Minimum 4 Year DegreeJob Category: Structural Bridge DesignThe New Orleans, LA office of Modjeski and Masters, Inc. is seeking Entry Level Structural Bridge Design Engineers What We’re Looking For  At minimum a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University Entry Level (0-4 years related Bridge Design Experience) Ideal candidates will have a valid EI certification, or in the process of obtaining. What You’ll Do Review and check standard structural design calculations. Perform structural analysis and design of standard bridge components using analysis software. Develop preliminary details using CAD software and provide information to CAD technicians for development of contract plans. Provide information for design reports. Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Prepare project-related documents and internal correspondence. Perform and check quantity take-offs from contract plans. Review and check drawings. Use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc. Able to learn and correctly apply relevant design specifications, including: AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI, etc. Why Join Us?
