The Marquee Hotel in New Orleans is hiring Full-Time Housekeepers. As a housekeeper you will perform various hotel housekeeping services to maintain clean guest rooms according to established standards. This position is eligible for E‑TIPS, allowing team members to earn extra pay through guest tips.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Prepare all assigned units for guest arrival.
Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly manner.
Report any maintenance problems.
Maintain cleanliness of carts and ensure supplies and equipment are in a neat and orderly appearance.
Assist management in maintaining inventory of linen and supplies.
Other duties and special projects as assigned by housekeeping management

Job Details:

Full-time team members are typically scheduled between 30–40 hours per week. This position requires weekend and holiday availability. A flexible schedule may also be needed to support business needs.

Qualifications

What are we looking for:

Previous hotel housekeeping experience
Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Able to bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull/ up to 100 lbs
Work a full shift (8 hours) walking/standing with or without reasonable accommodation.
Anticipates customer needs and thinks about how work impacts customers
Builds confidence in self and others with honest and dependable interactions.
