About Operation Restoration:
Operation Restoration (OR) supports women and girls impacted by incarceration to recognize
their full potential, restore their lives, and discover new possibilities. At OR, we focus on
advocacy, education, economic mobility, and true economic equity for our staff, clients, and
community. Our goal is to end the incarceration of women and girls. Incarceration is defined as
confinement in prison, jail, immigrant, juvenile or military detention, or a deportation facility.
Operation Restoration defines directly impacted women and girls as individuals who are
currently or have previously been incarcerated, arrested, or are on probation and/or parole.
About the Position:
Under the direction of the Development Administrator Specialist, the Movement Builder
Coordinator implements approved administrative, operational, and partner support activities
for Operation Innovation, Operation Restoration's fiscal sponsorship and movement-building
initiative.
This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the fiscal sponsorship
portfolio by coordinating partner communications, onboarding, grant reporting, documentation,
and organizational systems in alignment with established policies and procedures. The
Movement Builder Coordinator plays a critical role in strengthening fiscally sponsored
organizations through high-quality administrative and operational support while adhering to
established workflows, timelines, and approval processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Fiscal Sponsorship & Partner Support
ā Support the onboarding and orientation of fiscally sponsored organizations in
accordance with established procedures.
ā Support the collection and organization of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs),
grant agreements, and other documentation required for organizational records.
ā Support the fiscally sponsored partners by maintaining regular communication by
responding to routine questions, and referring complex matters to the Administration
Specialist.
ā Support the Development Administration Specialist by coordinating quarterly check-ins,
partner meetings, calendars, and follow-up communication.
ā Support the Development Administration Specialist by maintaining partner compliance
calendars and assisting with tracking required for grant reporting, and documentation.
ā Support partners with navigating Operation Innovation processes, resources, and
organizational procedures.
ā Support application intake, scheduling, and coordination for prospective fiscally
sponsored organizations in support of the Development Administration Specialist.
Administrative & Operational Support
ā Maintain Operation Innovation's electronic filing systems, shared drives, and document
management systems according to organizational standards.
ā Maintain accurate partner files, records, and documentation within CRM and
organizational databases.
ā Prepare correspondence, partner invoices, meeting materials, and operational
documents for review and approval.
ā Coordinate scheduling, meeting logistics, agendas, and note-taking for partner meetings
and internal planning sessions.
ā Maintain organizational tracking systems for partner status, reporting deadlines, and
operational activities.
ā Assist with implementation of departmental workflows, SOPs, and administrative
procedures in support of the Development Administration Specialist.
Financial & Reporting Support
ā Coordinate preparation and distribution of quarterly and monthly financial reports for
fiscally sponsored partners.
ā Maintain reporting calendars and monitor grant, contract, and compliance deadlines.
ā Coordinate with Finance to ensure partner financial documentation is complete and
submitted timely.
ā Prepare routine reports and provide administrative support for portfolio management in
support of the Development Administration Specialist.
Growth & Development Support
ā Assist in researching funding opportunities, capacity-building resources, technical
assistance, and professional development opportunities for fiscally sponsored partners.
ā Maintain partner engagement records within organizational CRM systems.
ā Assist in developing templates, guides, resource materials, and operational tools for
partners.
ā Coordinate prospective partner application processes and interview scheduling.
ā Support partner capacity-building initiatives, training, and technical assistance activities
in support of the Development Administration Specialist.
Partner Engagement & Program Coordination Support
ā Coordinate partner orientations, webinars, training, and informational meetings.
ā Maintain partner contact information and communication lists.
ā Support relationship management and ongoing partner engagement by coordinating
weekly partner informational emails, updates, and communications with fiscally
sponsored partners in support of the Development Administration Specialist.
Cross-Department Collaboration Support
ā Collaborate with Finance, Communications, Programs, and Executive Leadership to
support fiscally sponsored partners.
ā Coordinate internal requests related to partner needs and organizational processes.
ā Support cross-department implementation of operational systems and organizational
procedures.
ā Coordinate information sharing between departments to ensure timely partner support
in support of the Movement Builder Specialist.
Professional Development
ā Participate in organizational trainings, programmatic updates, and movement-building
learning opportunities.
ā Develop working knowledge of fiscal sponsorship policies, nonprofit compliance
requirements, organizational systems, and partner support processes.
ā Maintain cross-training in organizational systems, reporting procedures, and partner
administration to ensure continuity during team absences.
ā Remain knowledgeable of all Operation Innovation operational functions to provide
department-wide support as needed.
Additional Operational Support
ā Follow established Operation Innovation SOPs, workflows, and approval processes.
ā Maintain digital files, organizational templates, and partner resources.
ā Assist with special projects, research assignments, and organizational initiatives.
ā Provide administrative support during partner convenings, trainings, and organizational
events.
ā Perform related duties as assigned in support of organizational goals.
At times, this role requires flexibility to work outside of standard business hours to support our
mission as a community-centered organization. The role also may include occasional travel.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
ā Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Nonprofit Management, Public
Administration, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
ā 2ā4 years of experience in nonprofit administration, operations, program coordination,
partnership management, or related work
ā Strong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills
ā Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM/database systems, and
document management platforms
ā Experience maintaining records, reporting systems, and organizational documentation
ā Strong written and verbal communication skills
ā Ability to manage timelines, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and maintain
confidentiality
Desired Qualifications and Skills
ā Experience working with grassroots, advocacy, or social justice organizations preferred
ā Experience supporting fiscally sponsored organizations or nonprofit partnerships
preferred
ā Familiarity with grant reporting, nonprofit compliance, contracts administration, or
fiscal sponsorship preferred
ā Experience working with formerly incarcerated women and impacted communities
preferred
